Berta Rojas’s electrifying technique, warmth, and musical mastery have won the hearts of the public worldwide. Acclaimed by The Washington Post as an “extraordinary guitarist,” she has become a world ambassador of classical guitar — transcending borders and forging bridges between cultures. Her Cleveland performance will feature an all-Latin American program (with heavy concentrations of Argentinian and Paraguayan composers) entitled “Historia del Tango,” part solo and part with the Opus 216 String Quartet. Other guests include guitarist Colin Davin and vocalist Gabriela Martinez.

Symphony at Sunset returns for one evening only. Introducing Symphony at Sunset: An Autumn Encore. Join us on Sunday, October 11th, for mini pumpkin painting, yard games, food trucks, and crafts starting at 3 p.m., followed by an OPUS 216 performance from 5-6:30 p.m.

This event is located at Voinovich Park and is free to attend! Bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a selection of food trucks for dinner and dessert until 6:30pm!

Opus 216 will be playing a concert during sunset at Maple Crest Farms to celebrate the farm’s 200 years in business. The concert will celebrate 200 years of music by featuring songs from the 1820’s all the way to modern day.

The concert will be rain or shine, and will be Blossom-style lawn seating, so bring a chair, blanket, and snacks and make yourself comfortable! There will be a coffee truck in attendance.

Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 at the door.

America 250-Ohio will plant a white oak tree in all of Ohio’s 88 counties to honor our state’s role in the nation’s founding and commemorate the history of the location where it’s planted. By planting these trees in meaningful locations, Ohioans are actively preserving their local heritage while contributing to environmental sustainability!

Opus 216 will be accompanying the tree planting ceremony for Cuyahoga County at Lakeview Cemetery on September 17.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Recovery Concert of Hope, an inspiring community event held in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an afternoon of music, hope, reflection, and remembrance on the lawn at The Fine Arts Association. This concert showcases musical selections thoughtfully curated by music therapists, each accompanied by stories highlighting the healing power of music in recovery.

Together, we will honor those we have lost to overdose, support families and loved ones impacted by addiction, and celebrate the strength and resilience of recovery.

This event is free and open to all to attend. Along with the string ensemble, there will also be an interactive community art project, family friendly activities, and food trucks.

The Annual Heights Music Hop is a one-of-a-kind festival that brings together local musicians and businesses across Cleveland Heights. The event supports local shopping and entrepreneurship while showcasing the community’s vibrant music scene and promoting the Heights as a great place to live, work, and visit.

MIX: Summer Soirée is an enchanting evening inspired by the elegance and romance of the Regency era as portrayed in the Netflix hit television series Bridgerton. We will be performing arrangements of pop songs and Bridgerton-themed music by string quartet.

Rebecca Sweet, co-owner and master instructor of Viva Dance Studio, will lead a brief waltz lesson. DJ Sobe follows with an open format DJ set spinning pop, R&B, and more, and will be joined by members of Opus 216 throughout the evening.

Themed food and drink items, including cocktails, beer, and wine, are available to purchase from Bon Appétit.
